Production Field Foreman
Location: Mentor, OH
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: Strong base salary
Production-Based Commission: $per square on completed rejuvenation projects.
This is additional performance income that scales directly with production output.
$15,000–$20,000+ annually is realistic.

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Residential Roofing Production Manager to lead and
optimize our field operations. This role will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of
all residential roofing projects — from material staging through final inspection — ensuring
quality workmanship, efficiency, and excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage residential roofing crews on a variety of roof systems (asphalt shingle, metal, and other home roofing materials).
- Oversee daily production activities including tear-offs, installations, repairs, and clean-up.
- Coordinate with Sales Dept. to confirm roofing scopes, project timelines, and proper materials before jobs begin.
- Conduct pre-job walkthroughs with crews to review job details, safety procedures, and expectations.
- Ensure all work meets or exceeds manufacturer specifications and local building codes.
- Monitor project schedules, adjust crew assignments, and resolve issues to minimize delays.
- Train, mentor, and develop field technicians and foremen to maintain high performance and quality standards.
- Perform regular quality control checks on ongoing projects and final walkthrough inspections before customer sign-off.
- Enforce OSHA and company safety policies at all job sites to maintain a safe work environment.
- Communicate project status, challenges, and completion updates to internal teams and customers.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential roofing operations and crew leadership.
- Strong understanding of residential roofing materials, installation methods, and safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read job scopes and coordinate logistics efficiently.
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
- Commitment to quality craftsmanship and superior customer service.

Most workdays begin with a project briefing and travel to the job site. Workdays vary in length depending on project scope, but our team takes pride in completing jobs efficiently without cutting corners.
